A player shop is a published island with vending machines that still have stock and coins. A visit code opens that island. It is not a reward code and it does not belong in a code box.

Before you publish

Servers are described as holding up to 10 players. Publishing the island is what puts it in the browser other players use. Put machines on an open path at the spawn pad, grouped by what they sell or buy. A maze, a door, or a decorative shell between spawn and the machines costs you the visitors who leave.

Keep production belts off the shop floor. Buyers do not need to walk through a steel mill to find a food chest.

Stock things other players are already gathering or crafting: crops, washed produce, potato salad, ingots, gears, keys, and machines. Tall grass and dead bushes are cited as offers that do not hold a shop.

Out of coins

A buying machine with no coins returns an out-of-coins result. The price on the sign was never paid. Find another funded buyer, or fund your own machine if you are the buyer. One shop test described a busy five-minute window with a full server around 500,000 coins, and heavy buy-order shops holding on the order of 10 million coins in the machines. Those are single-test reports. They are not an hourly wage.

Separate the coins inside buy orders from the coins you still need for seeds, presses, and island blocks.

What a vending machine costs

The more specific craft list is 10 gold ingots, green sticky gears, and crystallized iron. A component split from one shop demonstration is about 45,000 coins of gold ingots, about 40,000 coins of green sticky items, and 15,000–25,000 coins of crystallized iron, totaling about 100,000 coins. Another note says the third part is iron rather than crystallized iron, and puts the craft near 85,000–100,000 coins. Read the craft menu on your workbench. Workbench Tier 2 is the reported unlock.

Finished machines are reported at player shops for about 200,000–300,000 coins. That spread is the market those sellers posted. It changes when more people craft machines.

Gold ingots for this craft come from Buffalkor ore and a furnace. Green sticky gears come from Slime Island. See combat islands.

Pricing

Check the other islands in the same server before you set a buy or a sell. Undercutting down to your own cost turns the machine into a donation. A sell price only counts after a visitor buys. A buy price only counts while the machine still holds coins.

Reinvesting into the 1M Coins badge means the balance reaches one million. Moving the same coins into a buy order still spends them. Watch the balance the badge uses if that emblem is the goal. Badge text and the shop floor are both covered under passes and collectibles.
