Combat islands are a chain of keys. Each key is consumed when you enter, so mine and loot before you leave. The home island does not replace this chain: copper drills do not spawn these nodes.
Order of the portals
- Craft a wooden sword for 20 wood and enter Slime Island from the hub.
- Get a Buffalkor Island key from slimes. Pink slimes are specifically tied to rare keys, and another note says green or pink slimes can drop this key.
- Enter Buffalkor Island. Some early notes call the same gold-ore destination Buffalo Island. Use the portal the key actually opens.
- Buffalkor drops are described two ways. One guide says Wizard Island keys. Another says diamond keys. Do not assume those names are the same item until you read the key in your inventory.
- Wizard Island comes next. Wizard lizards are described as dropping empty bottles and Desert Island keys. Desert keys are reported around 3,000–4,000 coins when players sell extras.
- Desert Island is the scorpion stop in the early-progression chain. Specific scorpion drops were not published.
Slime prices are shop offers
Green sticky gears show up around 20,000 coins in one note, 20,000–40,000 in another, and 40,000–50,000 inside a vending cost split. Pink sticky gears are the high offer, once stated up to about 60,000, and they are also mentioned as a crafting part for industrial stations. Blue sticky gears are the low-demand color. Green slime balls are an extra drop name on some lists and are not the same sentence as green sticky gears.
A practical early bag, from one trading note, is to leave with more green and pink gears than blue ones. That is inventory advice, not a spawn quota.
Standing on the low tree near the Slime Island entrance and aiming downward is a normal way to hit slimes that walk underneath. Do not add an auto-clicker to that spot.
Buffalkor Island
Buffalkors have more health than slimes. Circling them is the stated way to avoid standing in the hit. Drops named across the notes include Wizard Island keys or diamond keys, buffalo core crystals used with crystallized iron at an anvil, and crystallized Buffalkor. Crystallized Buffalkor is reported around 300,000 coins in player trade because it is used for high-tier crafts. No craft count is published here.
The island also has iron nodes, gold nodes, wild tomatoes, and oak trees that drop acorns. Gold is less common than iron. One mining note says clearing iron nodes is how players encourage new ore to appear. Bring a pickaxe. Smelt gold in the furnace at home. Checking a shop for coins before you haul a full stack avoids a wasted trip.
Starfruit seeds are documented as wild pickups on Wizard Island. One early summary also lists star fruit seeds on the buffalo island. Harvest the plant that is in front of you, and do not skip Wizard Island because of that conflict.
Weapons with published numbers
| Weapon | What was published | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden sword | 20 wood to craft, low damage | Slime Island entry |
| Iron waraxe | About 16–18 damage, critical hits about 21 | Faster slime clears once you can craft it |
| Pumpkin hammer | 18–27 damage, critical hits 20–30, strong knockback, slower recovery | Called the second-best melee after balance changes. The weapon ranked above it was not named |
| Aquamarine sword | No current damage number | Described as weaker in melee after adjustments |
| Gilded steel hammer | No damage number | Wide hits for groups such as Buffalkors. Faster than a wooden sword or stone axe in that role |
Weapon switching around the pumpkin hammer has a visible delay. If you swap on every swing, the delay is part of the rhythm.
Spellbook pages and a spellbook blueprint drop from wizards. The blueprint is given as an estimate of about 1 in 1,000 to 1 in 2,000 defeats, not as an official rate. Pages plus the blueprint are what the notes say you assemble. Tidal spellbooks are named as magic weapons, but a damage table for them was not published.
The weapon tier list is an edit of these reports. It is not a developer ranking.
